The background, what drives me, and how I work.
Who I Am
I'm Gaël, a freelance full-stack developer based in Paris, with three years of professional experience on production web applications. I started coding as a teenager out of curiosity, and it quickly became where most of my energy goes.
I'm finishing a Master's at Epitech while running the platform at Drive Talk Supercar Club as its only developer: 10,000+ monthly visitors, 450+ members, everything from the data schema to deployment. I do my best work where I can take full ownership end to end.
What drives me is where engineering meets design: writing clean code that results in interfaces people enjoy using. The details matter. They're also the first thing to go when a deadline tightens.

When I'm not building interfaces, I feed my curiosity in other ways.
Design & Art Direction
Drawn to games and products with strong visual identity. It shapes how I approach UI/UX.
Motorcycles
Rider and MotoGP enthusiast. The engineering precision and feel of being on two wheels is something I never get tired of.
Travel
Eager to see cultures and landscapes I don't know yet. It's why relocating for the right team appeals to me rather than worries me.
How I work
My apprenticeship ends in late September 2026, alongside my Master's at Epitech. At the end of September I start freelancing for a Swiss company, and my calendar opens to new clients from October 2026.
I take on engagements running from several weeks to several months: building a web product in Next.js, redesigning an interface, picking up an existing codebase, or joining a team already in place. Remote by default from Paris, occasional on-site time, clients abroad welcome.
