Overview
Hunterverse is the landing page for a video game, paired with a character builder playable straight in the browser: you compose your hunter, adjust their look and gear, and keep the result.
A personal project, set up as a testing ground. A character builder is a good state problem: many options that interact, a preview that has to stay smooth while parameters change, and a composition to serialise so it can be found again later.

Let people play before there is a game.
The showcase as a playable demo
A game site usually stops at screenshots and a trailer — you look, you don't touch. Putting the character builder on the landing page turns the visitor into a player before there is anything to install, and gives the game's world something tangible to handle.
